Boron Deficiency:

A boron deficiency is first seen at the tips of the leaves and consists of discoloration and browning. Here are a few natural foods you can easily find at the supermarket that have Boron in them! Just add these to your compost tea or directly to the soil and soon your plants will spring back and grow at full capacity!

Calcium Deficiency

There are a lot of natural solutions for fixing calcium deficiencies, however, unless you have a bio digestor like the Homebiogas system which you can find on our product page! Also if you stick to non-meat and non-dairy products, you will have no chance of foodborne illness

This one, as you can see, is very noticeable because of the major discoloration on the leaves. here are some good sources of sulphur;

Iron Deficiency

Again, the biggest thing to notice here is the major discoloring similar to calcium deficiency. The biggest difference is the veins of the leaf staying dark. Here are some foods that you can use to help with an iron deficiency.

All of these fruits and veggies above are all great sources of iron and many other vitamins and minerals that make great nutrients.There are so many that are everyday foods and are very accessible and easy to get! Also, all of these foods are all vegan friendly!

Manganese Deficiency

A manganese deficiency is different from an iron or calcium deficiency because it looks like the above picture, blotches of brown instead of losing its color.

Copper Deficiency

This deficiency looks similar to burn marks and has discoloring aroung the affected points on the leaves. They could also look wilted but if the stem still looks healthy then you have time to save it! Here are the foods that have the highest levels of copper.

This is a great list because it gives you a great gauge of the amount of copper! Also, as most of these lists, they are mostly vegan friendly!

Zinc Deficiency

Zinc Deficiencies usually show up on climbing plants such as peas, beans, etc. it shows up on the edges of the leaves while they become discolored and frail.

Another friendly reminder, unless you have a bio digestor, i would not recommend using any type of meat or dairy products in your compost to prevent foodborne illness.

Molybdenum Deficiency

 this can look very similar to manganese deficiency but the biggest difference is the marks show up on the edges of the leaves instead of the middle. Most of the foods on the list below are a lot of beans and legumes!

This deficiency looks a lot like an iron deficiency but is more subtle. It can also make the leaves and stem fairly frail. Its a good thing that so many of these foods can help it bounce back to great health

As you have seen, there are some deficiencies that are very subtle but can have a bad effect on your plants. this one mainly affects the strength in the leaves this list is very extensive which show how prominent potassium is in everyone's diet!

This one is hard to see but it mostly contributes to stunting the growth of your plants. Phosphorus will help them spring up and grow at full capacity! A good amount of nuts are full of phosphorus also berries hold an ample amount as well!
