⸻ 📉❄️ Colorado’s Snowpack Is Really Low This Winter ❄️📉

This winter, Colorado is seeing historically low snowpack levels — in many places only around ~50–60% of what’s normal for this time of year. Snowpack across the state is at record-low levels for late winter, and several mountain basins are below half of their typical snow water storage — meaning less natural moisture soaking into the ground and filling reservoirs.

📍 Why does that matter?

Snowpack acts like a natural water reservoir, slowly releasing fresh water as it melts into rivers and soils. When there’s less snow, soils stay drier, streams run lower, and plants and trees struggle to get the moisture they need — even through winter and into spring.

💧🌲 Winter watering helps!

Because we’re not getting much snow cover right now, your landscape — especially young trees, shrubs, and plants — can dry out. A little winter watering during mild days (when temps are above freezing) helps keep roots hydrated and soils moist, giving your plants a better shot at surviving the dry cold.

We’re offering winter watering services so your yard and trees get the extra care they need this dry season! 💪✨
